There were a few drops but as soon as it was time for Sheri to walk down the aisle, the sun came out and stayed for the rest of the day. There was just enough breeze to keep everyone comfortable and to rustle the leaves in the aspens on the lakeshore – one of my most favourite sounds in the whole world. And Mt. Hudson was the backdrop, presiding over the union. Perfection.
It was quite the spectacular day with adventures on the lake – Daryl, Sheri, myself and my canoeing partner headed out onto the lake for a few environmental portraits. I’m not quite sure what gets better than a couple on their wedding day in a canoe on a lake in a beautiful place.
Daryl, Sheri, the wedding party and I headed over to our next location for some portraits. Everyone rocked it out and I captured some of my most favourite bridal portraits ever of the couple and of Sheri in her beautiful gown with all her details. Just stunning, truly.
The party was a great one, full of good food, laughter, toasts, games of all sorts, reminiscing and telling stories. Everyone was enjoying themselves thoroughly, sharing in the joy and celebration of a couple committing their lives to each other in marriage.
Thanks so much Daryl and Sheri, your wedding day was so wonderful! And enjoy the pictures, all!
