In addition to my weddings this summer that I am chugging away at, I am also planning for 2013 bookings. Wedding photographers are always working one year ahead but it’s a tricky balance…..saving the time needed to work on weddings and setting aside a bit of time to work on business processes. I do most of my major planning and any business rehauls during the winter, but sometimes there is some overlap in the summer and it really keeps me on my toes.
One of my projects that is nearing completion is my client meeting guidebook. I’ve been thinking about how I want to approach my in-person client meetings and also have the couple come away with something tangible, without creating too much waste. I’ve created this nifty 8-page booklet that covers all the important things I talk about during our meeting and it’s something the couple can take away and refer back to if they forget something. Or recycled or passed along to friends. I’m still sourcing out printers and I may have one, I’m currently looking at the Rolling Press ~ I’m looking forward to getting a set printed to use for my fall meetings!
