Christie and Arno :: Engagement Session :: Queen Elizabeth Park

These are extra special to me, because it’s my brother and my to-be sister-in-law. I was so excited when Christie asked me if I would photograph their wedding, I didn’t even take a moment to think about it. I am thrilled that they are getting married in a few short weeks at Hycroft and I’m a little biased that this might be my favourite wedding this year!

Arno and Christie thought that having their Engagement Session at Queen Elizabeth Park would be fitting because Arno proposed to Christie inside the Conservatory. I remember the text message I got from her late on New Year’s Eve of this year and I couldn’t believe it. And I loved how Arno chose Queen Elizabeth - we grew up near the park and to this day, I find myself taking my son there weekly because my family still lives in the same area. It’s just such a lovely place.

I was hoping for a bit more sun, but the rain stayed at bay for most of the evening. We traipsed around the park and finished the evening off with a bit of a romp in the fountains. Pretty perfect, if I do say so myself.

I love these images, I love these two and I can’t wait for August 3rd to come around!

Enjoy!

Jarusha - What a gorgeous couple! Love these photos - the black and whites are some of my favs!
