When Stephanie told me they wanted their Engagement Session to reflect a bit about their wedding, I got all kinds of excited. See, their wedding is in Squamish next year at the CN Roundhouse and they wanted to go into the forest. And well, let’s just say did I ever find them their forest.
It was magical to say the least. The frosty days before had left some ice crystals on the forest floor and the sun offered some amazing light that filtered through the dense forest. It truly felt like we were transported into another place - it felt like our own little fairy glen. After exploring the woods (and check out the adorable set-up that they brought with them - a cozy blanket, mugs of tea, and a nerdy crossword puzzle!) we headed to the river for a bit of a different scene. It was peaceful, serene, and best of all, there was no cell service.
